He is one of the hardest working farmers in this section and was a very likable man in middle life who had countless friends left to mourn his death while yet in the prime of life. He possessed many good traits and his passing will be keenly felt by those who know him best. He was a member of the Middle River church. Funeral services were held Sunday at Hudson River church with Rev. W.T. Holcomb in charge. Interment was in the Hudson River cemetery amid a large concourse of friends and relatives. He is survived by his wife, four sons, four daughters, his father, Mr. R.L. Hanley, and one sister, Mrs. May Hill, who have the sincere sympathy of their many friends in the death of their loved one.
