Franklin County Citizen, April 12, 1984
Canon--Mrs. Myrtie Bernice Hayes Harris, 77, of Route 1, Eagle Grove Community, 
wife of Roscoe Harris, died Saturday, April 7, 1984, at Cobb Memorial Hospital.

Born in Hart County, she was a daughter of the late Jim and Dorothy David Hayes. 
She was a homemaker and member of the Old Canon Baptist Church.

Surviving are widower of the home; sons, Clyde Harris of Lilburn, Donald Harris of 
Commerce, Douglas Harris of Decatur; daughter, Mrs. Dan (Jeanette) Bryant of 
Canon; 15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

Services were held Monday, April 9, 1984, at Pruitte Funeral Home Chapel by the 
Revs. Jerry Parnell and Bill Harris. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.
