Franklin County Citizen, December 14, 1989
Royston--Roy Oscar Hart, 83, of Rt. 1, husband of Vada Nash Hart, died Friday, 
Dec. 8, 1989, at Cobb Memorial Hospital.

Born in Franklin County, he was a son of the late Oscar and Etta Rolling Hart. He 
was a retired finisher with a furniture factory and a Methodist.

Surviving are wife; daughters, Frances Hickman, Merle Royston, Rachel Phillips and 
Mildred Royston of Royston, Jean Phillips of Carnesville, and Mrs. Faye Carey of 
Commerce; sons, Roy L. Hart, Billy Hart, and Benny Hart of Royston; brothers, 
Jewell Hart of Royston and Calvin Hart of Danielsville; 30 grandchildren; 30 
great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Services were at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, at Pruitte Funeral Home Chapel by the 
Rev. Fred Young. Burial was in Franklin Memorial Gardens South.
