July 6, 1933 Mr. Newton C. Hart, age 74, died at his home in Dooley's district Friday afternoon, following an illness of about one year. Funeral services and interment took place at Trinity church Saturday at four o'clock in the presence of many sorrowing friends and relatives. The services were conducted by Rev. G. F. Taylor, of Franklin Springs. Mr. Hart was a good citizen, a member of Trinity church for many years. He was an extended neighbor and loyal at all times to his friends. His entire life had been spent in this neighborhood and he will be greatly missed by one and all. Surviving Mr. Hart is his wife and the following children - Dewitt, John, Walton, Dewey and Oscar Hart, Royston; Otto Hart, Cleveland, S.C.; Miss Tabbie Hart, Carnesville; Mrs. Cris Haley, Danielsville and Mrs. W. B. Davidson, Carnesville. There are two living brothers and one sister - Sam Hart, Carnesville; Jasper Hart, Empire, Ga., and Mrs. Nancy Coker, Martin. Brock & Ayers had charge of funeral arrangements.
