Mrs. Emma D. Hart, 78, of Cromers Mill section died at her home Wednesday, 
October 2. Mrs. Hart's death came after a three day illness of paralysis.
Funeral services were held at the Trinity Church Friday at 3 p.m. with the 
Rev. W. J. Nash officiating. Before her marriage to the late Newton Callaway 
Hart. Mrs. Hart was the former Emma D. Fowler. Born in Franklin County, the 
deceased was a faithful member of Trinity Church during her lifetime.
Mrs. Hart is survived by nine children: Oscar Harty, Carnesville Rt. 1, Dock 
Hart, Cleveland, S.C., Otto Hart, Royston Rfd., Mrs. Cris Haley, Danielsville, 
Dewey Hart Canon, Dewitt Hart, Royston, Rt. 1, John Hart Royston, Rt. 1, Mrs. 
Wilburn Davison Ashland, Mrs. Hubert Barrett, Danielsville and sixty-six 
grandchildren and 64 great grandchildren.
Cunningham and Pruitte Funeral Directors in charge.
