ANNIE SISK HART, wife of R. L. Hart, died at the age of 74, after an illness of 3 weeks at the home in Royston on Tuesday, July 31. Mrs. Hart was a member of the Peniel Holiness church and was a true Christian woman. She was a most devoted mother and wife and ever ready to do anything for neighbors and friends. Her life was well spent in services to those about her. Funeral services will be held from Peniel Church Friday afternoon at 4 pm with Rev. Walter Nash and Rev. J. B. Cobb officiating. Interment will be in Peniel cemetery. She is survived by her husband and the following children, Lester and Jack Hart of Royston, Thurmond Hart of the U. S. Navy in the South Pacific, J. P. Hart of the U. S. Army in Europe, Mrs. J. L. Lord of Royston, Mrs. Carl McGarity of Toccoa, Mrs. George Westbrook of Royston; 1 sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Delay of Gillsville; 1 brother, Barmice Sisk of Athens, 23 grandchildren.
