"Bob" Heath, 67, of Franklin Springs, died Saturday, November 27, 2004, at Cobb Memorial Hospital, Royston. Born in Tulsa, Okla. August 15, 1937, he was the son of Sue Wever Heath, Tulsa, Okla., and the late A.J. (Jack) Heath. He was a retired College Professor at Emmanuel College and also had taught at Oral Roberts University and Southwest-ern Bible College. Before his death he was teaching online for the University of Maryland. Dr. Heath was an Ordained Minister in the Pentecostal Holiness Church and attended The Grove in Maysville. He was a member of Georgia Communication Association, Geor-gia Golf Association, Family Motor Coach Association and the Georgia Newmar Motor Coach Association. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Lynne Heath, and a half-sister, Jacqueline Heath Hume. Survivors include his wife, Hester L. Henderson Heath, Franklin Springs; son, Robert D. Heath, Alpharetta; daughter, Susan Heath Johnson, Monroe; his mother; brothers, A.J. (Jim) Heath, Tulsa, Okla., and Charles Heath, Wellington, Fla.; and six grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 30, at the Franklin Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Glen Howard and Pastor Jeff Appling officiating. Burial was in Eternal Hills Memory Gardens, Snellville. Memorials may be made to the Robert W. Heath Memorial Scholarship Fund at Emmanuel College or to The Brain Tumor Clinic at Duke University.
