Mrs. Alice Jordan Dies in Canon

The death of Mrs. Alice Jordan wife of Mr. J. Henry Jordan, which occurred at her 
home in Canon, Monday, September 10th, caused a pall of sadness over the 
community. She was 24 years of age and the mother of one little fiver year old 
daughter. Her death was from brights disease.

Mrs. Jordan was well and favorably known to a large circle of friends, and her 
death in the bloom of young motherhood has brought sorrow into many hearts.

Funeral and interment took place at Cross Roads church, Hart County, Tuesday, 
September 11th. Rev. Shirley had charge of the services.

She is survived by her husband and little daughter and many other relatives.

Joe T. Cunningham, funeral director, was in charge.
