Jessie Roger Lord, 58, of Royston, died Monday, October 9, 2006, at Cobb 
Memorial Hospital in Royston.

He was the son of Ruby Mae Jones Allen and the late Almond Lord. Mr. Lord was 
preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Lynn Lord.

Survivors in addition to his mother include a fiancé, Joyce Driver; daughters, 
Cindy Evans, Murrayville, Billie Sue Galloway, Gainesville; son, Kelly Dean 
Lord, Gainesville; brothers, Tommy Lord, Nicholson, James Lord, Commerce; 
sisters, Verner Sue David and Rosa Lee Brown, both of Danielsville; and five 
grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, October 11, in the chapel of Ivie 
Funeral Home with the Revs. Jerry Smith, Matthew Calvert and Clay Huff 
officiating. Burial was in Friendship Baptist Church cemetery in Madison 
County. 

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, was in charge of arrangements.
