(Bill) Manley, the first Georgia boy killed in World War 2 at Pearl Harbor, arrived in San Francisco last Wednesday night, aboard the Army Transport Cardinal O'Donnell. In a telegram to Bill's parents, Mr. and Mrs. E.S. Manley, it said that the body would arrive in Atlanta in about ten days to three weeks. J. Austin Dillon Funeral Home will have charge of funeral arrangements, the date to be announced later. A military escort from Fort McPherson and the American Legion will conduct the services at the crypt of the family mausoleum in West View Cemetery in Atlanta.
