Funeral services were held Sunday at Friendship Baptist Church near Danielsville with the Rev. Dayton Logan and Rev. Carter Griffin officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Nephews served as pall-bearers. Born February 2, 1907, in Franklin County, he was a son of the late Bud and Becky Meadows Nash. He came to Toccoa from Danielsville about 16 years ago. Prior to his retirement he was with a Toccoa manufacturing company. He was of the Holiness faith. Survivors: widow, Mrs. Ovie Powers Nash; two daughters, Mrs. Elsie Farmer, Toccoa; Mrs. Larry Cortapassie, Miami, Fla.; three sons, Dewitt Nash, Billy Nash, and Horace Nash, all of Atlanta; 14 grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Roy Hart, Royston; Mrs. Lean Fowler, Royston; Mrs. Nell Roland, Danielsville; two half- sisters, Mrs. Coyle Forston, Danielsville; Mrs. Dorothy Wiley, Athens: three half- brothers, Richard Nash, Royston; J.B. Nash, Anderson, S.C.; Ellis Nash, Danielsville.
