She was born in Franklin County and was the daughter of the late Frances Marion and Hattie Oakley South. She was a retired machine operator having worked with Candlewick Yarns and was a member of the Royston Baptist Church. She was a member of the Ty Cobb Health Care Pink Ladies Auxiliary, the Woodmen of the World, Royston-Franklin Springs Lions Club, the W.A.R.P. and the Fifty- Plus Club. Mrs. Nash was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Verner Fulghum, and her second husband, James Mack Nash. Survivors include sons and daughter-in-law, Michael Fulghum, Canon, and David and Cindy Fulghum, Dewy Rose; daughters and son-in-law, Mary Ann Fulghum, Royston, and Becky and Ray Dove, Danielsville; sister, Hattie Mae Elrod, Bowman; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday, August 1, in the chapel of Pruitt Funeral Home with the Revs. Byron Greene and Richard Bielski officiating. Burial was in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Royston. Grand-sons served as pallbearers. The Ty Cobb Health Care Pink Ladies Auxiliary served as honorary pallbearers. Pruitt Funeral Home, Royston, was in charge of arrangements.
