ROY JORDAN

JONESBORO - Roy Quillan Jordan, 86, of 2932 Jordeco Drive, foremerly of Comer, 
died Monday, Dec. 28.

Mr. Jordan, a native of Franklin County, was a son of the late M. Y. and Sally 
Moon Jordan.  He was a retired employee of Atlanta Gas Ligh Co. and a member of 
Comer United Methodist Church. 

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Brown's Funeral 
Home, Danielsville. The Rev. David C. Jordan, Jr. will officiate. 

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Boyd Lancaster, Chamblee, Mrs. John 
French, Cordonva, Alaska, Mrs. Travis Vaughn, Jonesboro, and Mrs. Bob Brewer, 
Fayetteville; three brothers, D. C. Jordan, Comer, Fred P. Jordan, Decatur, and 
Henry N. Jordan, Blairsville; four sisters, Mrs. Frances J. Withersp;oon, 
Decatur, Mrs. Clyde Hutchins, Athens, Mrs. J. L. Martens, Marble, N. C. and 
Mrs. W. T. "Bill" Gilkey, Lehigh Acres, Fla.; nine grandchildren; and two great-
grandchildren.
