Mrs. Lucy M. Parten Haley, 97, of Royston, GA passed away Saturday, October 01, 
2016 at her home.

Mrs. Haley was born in Royston, GA on October 4, 1918, daughter of the late 
Bennett E. Parten and the late Tersie Jane Phillips Parten.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur 
Haley; sisters, Retha Phillips, Madge Parten, Ellis Sorrells, Nina Brooks, Carmel 
Parten and Montine Parten; brothers, George Parten, Wilbur (Bill) Parten and James 
Travis Parten.

Mrs. Haley is survived by one sister, Winnie Lou Parten Patterson of Royston, GA.

Funeral services will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church at 3:00 P.M. on 
Monday, October 3, 2016 with Rev. David Bryan and Rev. Brian David officiating. 
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. on Sunday evening 
at Pruitt Funeral Home in Royston, GA. The family is at the home.

Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church 
Cemetery Fund, c/o Patricia B. Hart, 1297 Athens Road, Royston, GA 30662.

Pruitt Funeral Home in Royston, GA is in charge of arrangements.
