Harry Patat Killed in Action Word was received Saturday that 1st Lieutenant Harry F Patat, Jr. was killed in action in France on January 6th. No further details were given in the telegram to his wife, Mrs. Lula Kay Patat of Royston. Lt. Patat entered service in the infantry June 1941. He went overseas in August 1944 and had seen active service since that time. He received training at Camp Wheeler Georgia. Mr. Patat was a native of Athens. In addition to his wife he is survived by two children, "Skipper," and Lydia Patat of Royston. Mrs. Patat is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T.H. Kay of Royston. Rt. 2.
