Patterson We, the committee, appointed to draft resolutions on the death of Brother Joel T. Patterson, beg to offer the following; Brother Patterson was born in Franklin, no Banks County, 55 years ago, and departed this life October 11, 1909. When only a youth he united with the Baptist Church at Nails Creek, Banks County, Ga. While yet a young man he moved to the state of North Carolina, in which state he was made a Mason. Ten years ago he settled near Carnesville and affilated with this Lodge. And was a model husband and father, a true Christian, a zealous mason. Resolved 1st. That in the deat of Brother Patterson, the wife and children have lost a kind husband and father the county an upright and loyal citizen, the Church one of her best members and our Lodge a faithful and devoted member. Resolved 2nd. That a copy of these resolutions be sent to the family of our deceased brother and that The Carnesville Advance be requested to publish them. J.F. Goode, J.W. Landrum, J.D.
