Franklin County Citizen
Starr, S.C.--William Crawford Phillips, 83, of Route 2, Starr, S.C., husband of 
Minnie Anderson Phillips, died Tuesday, Nov. 11, at Anderson Memorial Hospital.

Born in Franklin County, Ga., he was a son of the late D.B. and Lettie Bond 
Phillips. He was a retired farmer and timberman and a member of the Baptist faith.

Surviving locally is a sister, Mrs. Zadie Hart of Canon.

Services were conducted Thursday, Nov. 13, at Poplar Springs Baptist Church by the 
Rev. Preston Garrett. Burial was in the church cemetery.
