Vera Ann Webb Phillips, 74, of Royston, died Friday, September 29, 2006, at 
her residence.

She was born in Hart County on June 19, 1932, and was the daughter of the late 
Walter S. and Marylynn Fortson Webb. She was a bookkeeper and a member of the 
Royston Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas M. Phillips, Royston; sons and daughter-
in-law, Mitchell Scott and Kathy Phillips, and Jeff Phillips, all of Royston; 
daughter, Sandra Phillips, Commerce; grandchildren and spouses, Jason and 
Erica Phillips, Adam Phillips, and Misty and Eddie Holland; and a great-
grandchild, Lexey Phillips.

Funeral services were held Sunday, October 1, in the chapel of Pruitt Funeral 
Home with the Rev. Byron Greene officiating. Burial was in the Rose Hill 
Cemetery in Royston.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Northeast Georgia Animal Shelter, 
870 Bear Creek Road, Lavonia, Ga.

Pruitt Funeral Home, Royston, was in charge of arrangements.
