MRS. LUE CROW POWERS, wife of the late William F. Powers, died Monday 
afternoon at 4:45 pm in the Cobb Memorial Hospital following an illness of the 
past year.

	A daughter of the late Sam and Malinda Cromer Crow, she was a 
native of Franklin County and was a member of Zidon Baptist Church.

	Funeral services were held at 2:30 pm. Wednesday at Zidon Baptist 
Church with Rev. Robert Thomas, Rev. John t. Campbell and Rev. Spence 
Phillips officiating.  Burial was in the church cemetery.

	Survivors include 2 sons, James D. Powers of Royston and Dewey 
Powers of Canon; 5 daughters, Mrs. A. O. Hart of Canon, Mrs. Wyatt Singleton 
of Conyers, Mrs. J. T. Stone of Comer, Mrs. Ben Scarborough of Arnoldsville, 
and Mrs. T. M. Crow of Jefferson; 1 sister, Mrs. W. E. Stone of Cromer's Mill; 
32 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren, and a large number of nieces and 
nephews.	

	Pruitte-Herring Funeral Home was in charge.
