PRUITT, TORNADO VICTIM, BURIED MONDAY The unfortunate death of Mrs. Anna Lois Pruitt, six months bride of Mr. Clyde Pruitt, caused by the disastrous tornado which swept through a portion of Georgia Monday morning, is mourned by a large number of grief stricken friends and relatives. She was 18 years old and her death was instantaneous when their home was completely destroyed. Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 8th, at Nails Creek Baptist Church in Banks County with Rev. A. T. Cline of Toccoa officiating. Interment was in the Nails Creek cemetery. Mrs. Pruitt was a member of the Baptist church and was a young lady of exceptionally fine character. Since her marriage six months ago, she and her husband made many plans for the future, only to be taken suddenly by the storm. She is survived by her husband and parents, Mr. & Mrs. R. E. Payne, four brothers, and two sisters. They have the deepest sympathy of their many friends and the sad death of their loved one. B. D. Ginn, funeral director.
