Mrs. B. E. Purcell Fatally Injured

Word has been received this week of the death of Mrs. Buren Estes Purcell of 
Orlando, FL, in Louisana on Sunday.
Mr. Purcell was also seriously injured and is in a Louisiana hospital,  Mr. 
and Mrs. Purcell were involved in a head-on collision in which 3 people were 
killed and 9 injured.  
The Purcells are former resident of Franklin County and Mrs. Purcell will be 
remembered as Miss Nellie Wilson.
Mrs. Purcell will be buried in Orlando, FL.

Additional Comments:
Nellie Weston Wilson was born in Franklin County on Aug. 20, 1896.  She died 
Sept. 30, 1956.  She was daughter of James Preston Wilson and Polina Weston 
Payne.
Buren Estes Purcell was born Oct. 16, 1895 in Franklin County.  He died Dec. 
22, 1971.  He was son of James Walton Purcell and Nancy Frances White.
