William Edwin "Ed" Randall, 74, of Greenville, SC died October 31, 1987 at 
Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Franklin County, GA, he was a son of the late Thomas E. and Burmah 
Alice Carroll Randall Turner.  He was preceded in death by a son, Elbert 
Randall.  He resided in Greenville for 55 years.  He was retired from the U. 
S. Post Office and was formerly employed with Ford Motor Co.  He was a member 
of Tabernacle Baptist Church where he had served as a deacon.
Survivors include:  his wife of 55 years, Orene Whitfield Randall of the home;
daughter, Mr. Wade T. (Beverly) Rainey of Greer, SC; sons, Jimmy R. and Don E. 
Randall of Greenville, SC.  Sister, Mrs. Frank (Fannie) Akin of Danville, VA;
Stepbrothers:  Guy Turner and George Turner of Cornelia, GA.  8 grandchildren.
Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at Tabernacle Baptist Church with 
Rev. Harold Sightler, Rev. Jerry Clark and Rev. Ralph M. Horne.  Burial in 
Graceland Cemetery.
