Sharon Suzzane Bertram Rhoades, 58, of Royston, died Thursday, November 9, 
2006, at her residence.

Born in Muncie, Ind., on September 12, 1948, she was the daughter of Mildred 
Johnson Bertram of Muncie, Ind., and the late Cordell Bertram. She was a 
secretary and a member of the Franklin Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church, 
where she was an active member of the Ladies Community Bible Study.

Survivors include her husband, Dr. Harold G. Rhoades, Royston; son and fiancé, 
Scott Delaney and Valerie Hughes, Muncie, Ind.; sons and daughter-in-law, Adam 
and Heather Rhoades, Milwaukee, Wis., and Seth Rhoades, Royston; daughter and 
son-in-law, Lisa and Sean Williamson, Canon; five grandchildren, Saron 
Williamson, McKinley Delaney, Samuel Williamson, Sabastian Rhoades and 
Christian Rhoades; one granddaughter on the way; brother, Johnny Bertram, Hoot 
Owl Ridge, Fla.; and a sister, Katie Lucas, Muncie, Ind.

Funeral services were held Monday, November 13, at the Franklin Springs 
Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Harrison Lampley officiating. Burial 
was in the Franklin Springs City cemetery. Pallbearers were Rick Turner, Paul 
Oxley, Dr. Mike Luper, Dr. John Henzel, Dr. Hoyt Crump, Bob Truitt and Tom 
McKean. Honorary pallbearers were Beth Ward, Julie Ridgway, Cindy Luper, 
Beverly Oxley, Judy Henzel, Frances Truitt, Alif McKean, Margaret Grady and 
the ladies of the Community Bible Study.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Psychology Department of Emmanuel 
College, c/o Dr. Beverly Oxley.

Pruitt Funeral Home, Royston, was in charge of arrangements.
