Tenneco Automotive of Hartwell retiree

Roy Roberts, 62, of Bear Creek Road, Canon, husband of Doris Roberts, died 
Wednesday, July 14, 2004 at Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens. 

Born Feb. 2, 1942 in Franklin County, he was a son of the late Frank and Gladys 
Cheek Roberts. He was retired from Tenneco Automotive of Hartwell.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 24, at 2 p.m. at the B.D. Ginn 
Memorial Chapel of Ginn Funeral Home. Pastors Johnny Stowe and Ron Jackson will 
officiate. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Gardens, North.  

Survivors include his wife, Doris Roberts; son and daughter-in-law, Frankie and 
Susan Roberts of Canon; two daughters and son-in-law, Tracy Roberts of Lavonia, 
Kris and Kenneth Carle of Royston; brother, Ray Roberts of Toccoa; sister, Faye 
Chatham of Jefferson; four grandchildren, Dawn Roberts, Dale Roberts, Danielle 
Carle and Justin Carle.

Ginn Funeral Home, Carnesville, is in charge of arrangements.
