Royston--Jack Glenn Royston, 85, of 384 Cook St. died March 31, 2009 at Cobb 
Memorial Hospital in Royston.

Born Jan. 2, 1924 in Franklin County, he was a son of the late Floyd and Tecora 
Fowler Royston and the husband of the late Delcie Freeman Royston. He was a U.S. 
Army Veteran of World War 2 and was self-employed in the shaving industry. He was 
a member of Franklin Springs Baptist Church.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Pam Royston of Royston; 
grandchildren, Rusty Royston and Bridgett Moorhead; six great-grandchildren; and 
sisters, Nealie Manley and Florine Thomas, both of Royston. He was preceded in 
death by his brother, John Milfored Royston.

Funeral services were held April 2, 2009 at Franklin Springs Baptist Church, 
officiated by the Revs. Frank Bearden and Darvin Cash. Burial followed in the 
church cemetery.
