Franklin County Citizen
Calvin Gordon, a 81-year-old from Rt 1 died in the afternoon on Thursday, March 4,
1976; he died at the 
Russell Nursing home in Winder because of an illness he'd been dealing with for a
long time. 

Mr. Waters had been born in Banks county and was the son of Cape and Elizabeth
Morris Waters. He was a 
member of the Grove Level Baptist Church.

He was survived by his brothers, Grover Waters (Royston, GA) and Homer Waters
(Gainesville, GA).

Reverend Lee Brown held services for him on Saturday, March 6, 1976 at the
Tommy-Conn Memorial Chapel; 
he was buried in the Mount Carmel Baptist Church cemetery
