JOHN H. WELLS BURIED SATURDAY.
John H. Wells, 65, died at Millegeville May 8th after a long illness.  His 
body was brought to Carnesville and funeral and interment took place at Middle 
River Baptist Church, Saturday May 11th.  Rev. W. T. Holcomb conducted the 
services.
Mr. Wells was born and reared in Franklin County and was a prominent citizen 
of the county, having many friends who admired and respected him for his many 
fine qualities.  He was a member of Middle River Baptist Church.  
He was married to Miss Maggie Bryson about 40 years ago and she preceded him 
to the grave several years ago.
Survivors include his children:
Joe Wells, Carnesville; Jessie Wells, Vanna; and Mrs. J. O. McCrary of Atlanta.
Brother:  Preston Wells of Madison County.
