Westbrook, died in a Winston-Salem, NC hospital on Thursday, May 24th following an illness of two weeks. Mrs. Westbrook was born in Franklin County. She was a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church and lived a true christian life. She was a faithful wife, indulgent mother and kind neighbor. She endeared herself to all with whom she came in contact. Funeral services were held at Indian Creek Church Sunday, May 27, with Dr. A. T. Cline and Rev. J. O. Fulbright officiating. A large crowd attended the funeral. In addition to her husband, she is survived by 2 daughters, Mary Frances Snyder and Elizabeth McClaren, both of Winston-Salem, NC. 5 sisters, Victoria Wood, Ashland; Mrs. L. M. Coffee, Thomasville, NC; Mrs. H. H. Westbrook, Ashland; Mrs. J. T. Moorhead, Bogart; Mrs. J. F. Henson, Carnesville; 1 brother: C. H. Means, Ashland and mother, Mrs. F. R. Means. B. D.
