She had been invalid for many years. Funeral and interment took place at Middle River church on December 24th at eleven o'clock with Rev. C.T. Burgess and Rev. S.E. MAcomson officiating. Mrs. Whitlow was one of the county's oldest women and was respected by a large circle of friends. She was a member of the Middle River church and lived a Christian life, always taking part in the work of the church until her health prevented. She is survived by four sons; Messrs. C.J. Whitlow, H.C. Whitlow, of Carnesville, G.W. Whitlow, of Atlanta, W.A. Whitlow, of Commerce, three daughters, Mrs. C.O. Martin, Miss Mattie Whitlow and Mrs. Essie Lindsey and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. B.D. Ginn, funeral director, was in charge.
