Mrs. Amanda Lorena Pritchett Wilson, age 91, of Baldwin, GA died Sunday, 
January 4, 1998 at a private convalescent home following an extended illness.
Mrs. Wilson was born in Franklin County on August 7, 1906.  She was a daughter 
of the late William Thomas Pritchett and the late Mary Evie Thomason 
Pritchett.  She was preceded in death by a sister, Morene Ausburn and a 
brother W. C. "Doc" Pritchett; stepdaughter, Mary Bentley and stepson, Frank 
Wilson.  Mrs. Wilson was a member of Hillside Baptist Church, Cornelia.  She 
was a former dietician for the Carnesville Schools lunchroom and was retired 
from the nursing staff of Cobb Memorial Hospital, Royston.
Survivors:  daughter and son in law, Evie and Larry Whitfield; stepdaughter 
and husband, Gladys and Walter M. Jackson, Atlanta; sisters, Reba Pritchett 
and Viola Ward.  Grandchildren: John Whitfield and Lora Whitfield Wright.  4 
stepgrandchildren. 9 step great granchildren and several step great,great 
grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11 am Tuesday, January 6, 1998 in Whitfield 
Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby Jones and Rev. Billy Harris officiating. 
Burial will follow in Allens United Methodist Church Cemetery in Red Hill.
