SARA OSBORN BECOMES BRIDE OF JOHN RAY AT INFORMAL RITE YESTERDAY

   Miss Sara Francis Osborn, daughter of Mrs. Hubert E. Osborn and the late 
Mr. Osborn, 1032 N. Martin, Tuscon Arizona, was married yesterday afternoon at 
4:00 to John Arthur Ray, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Ray of Royston, Georgia.  
The informal single ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Royal Reisner, and 
organ music was played by J. D. Guthrie.
   The bride was given in marriage by her Uncle Lieut. Allen C. Hall, USN of 
Long Beach, California.  She wore a gold suit, with brown accessories and two 
bronze Orchids.  Her sister, Miss Evelyn Osborn, was her maid of honor.  She 
wore a grey suit with black accessories and a corsage of red roses.
   Major Henry G. Birchmore, of Comer, Georgia, was best man.  Out of town 
guests at the ceremony included the groom's mother, the bride's grandmother, 
Mrs. J. M. Carlton, of Royston, Georgia, and Mrs. Allen Hall of Long Beach, 
California.
   The bride attended the University of Georgia and graduated from Georgia 
State College for Women and the groom is a graduate of the University of 
Georgia.
   The couple will take a wedding trip to Florida, and will make their home in 
Royston where the groom is in business.
