The ceremony was performed by the Ordinary, C.D. McEntire in Carnesville on August 7, 1945. Mrs. Brown is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jo Royston of Royston. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dillard Brown of Carnesville, Rt. 1. He is home with an honorable discharge from the Army. He was with the Third Army and won many medals for his participation in the battles of the European theatre of war. He also wears the Purple Heart. Mr. and Mrs. Brown will make their home at Royston Cotton Mill, where they have positions. We join their friends in wishing them a long and happy voyage through life.
