Will of Richard Bellamy 20 Aug 1813 Franklin County, GA In the name of God, Amen. I Richard Bellemy of the County of Franklin and State of Georgia being sick and Weak of Body but of Sound Memory and understanding Calling to mind the Mortality of the Body do make ordain and apoint this my last Will and Testament and I do hereby revoke and disanull all others that have heretofore been by me made and do astablish this my only last Will and Testament _______ ________ In the first place I Recommend my Soul into the hands of allmighty God who gave it and my Body to the Grave to be entered in a decent Christian manner at the discression of my Friends - And as touching such worldly property as it has pleased God to bless me with, I do make the following disposal, That is to Say. I leave and Bequeath to my beloved Wife Marey Bellamy my Negro Fellow Named Ben and my Negro Woman Named Charlotte with the priviledge of Living on the Plantation whereon I now Live during Her natural Life. Should She choose it together with what She may think necessary for Her Support both of Stock and Houshold Furniture and at her Death I leave said negroes (Namely Ben and Charlotte, to my Loving Daughter Susannah Webb with their increase and also to sd Susannah I leave my negro Boy Dick to be delivered to her at any time after my death, that my executors may think proper together with Two hundred Two and a half Acres of Land lying in Wilkson County when Surveyed and distinguised by Lot No. 25 to have possession of at pleasure, I leave and bequeath to my loving Son John Bellamy the Land whereon I now Live to have Possession of at the death of my Loving wife or at any Time she may think proper to give it up to him before, also my negro fellow Reuben and my negro Boy Simion with the one half of the stock and Houshold Furniture that remains in possession of my Loving wife at her Death and likewise One half of the Stock and furniture which my wife shall not think necessary for her support, which He is to immediate possession of after my death, the other half I leave and Bequeath in the Same Manner and under the same restrictions to my Loving daughter Elizabeth Webb, I also give Her the Tract of Land on which She now Lives Containing 218 Acres in Oglethorp County sd State together with my Negro girls Sheebey and Milley. I leave my Daughter Polly Martin Ten Dollars in Cash I leave to my granddaughter Aella Martain my Negro girl Eualina, It is my Will and desire that all my Just debts should be paid out of what Moneys is owing to me or in hand and the balance I will to be equally divided between my Son John and my Daughter Elizabeth, I do hereby Constitute and Apoint my Loving Son John and my trusty Friend Stephen Westbrook my lawfull executors of this my last Will and Testament.
