All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/gafiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Carol Mercier candjmercier@att.net June 30, 2010, 9:36 am Source: Franklin County Wills Written: October 17, 1835 Recorded: September 9, 1837 Georgia} In the name of God Amen } Franklin County} I Lucy Wilkinson of the County and State aforesaid, being advances in years, and Knowing that it is appointed for all to die, and being in perfect mind and memory, do make & ordain the following to be my last will and Testament (Viz) 1st First, I give and bequeath unto my daughter Nancy Carter one dollar - 2nd I will and bequeath unto my daughter Polly Bond one dollar - 3rd I give and bequeath unto my daughter Patsy Mitchell one dollar - 4th I will and bequeath unto my daughter Sophia Edwards one dollar - 5th I will and bequeath unto my daughter Sally Cawthon one dollar - 6th I will and bequeath unto the heirs of Silva Baker my daughter Decd. one dollar - 7th I will and bequeath unto my daughter Fanny Baldwin, one negro man named John, one Roan Mare, one loom and all belonging thereto, the last crop of corn and fodder that may be raised in the plantation before my death. Half a dozen Walnut Chairs, one cupboard, one small oven and Kittel, and one Spider, four Jarrs and one Cow and Calf, besides what I give her hereafter - 8th I will and bequeath unto my son Signal Wilkinson Four Jarrs, & all the Earthen and Crockery ware, belonging to the cupboard & Dairy, and one half of my plantation tools, in addition to what is given him hereafter - 9th I will and bequeath to my son Thomas Wilkinson the other half of my plantation tools, in addition to what is given him hereafter - 10th I give and bequeath unto my Sons Elisha Wilkinson, Signal Wilkinson, Thomas Wilkinson, and my daughter Fanny Baldwin all my household & kitchen furniture, and all my Stock of horses, Cattle Hogs & sheep except what is willed above, to be sold and equally divided between them - I do hereby nominate and appoint my Son Signal Wilkinson Executor of this my last will & Testament hereby disannulling all former wills by me maded. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 17th day of October 1835.
