GODBEE-GODBY FAMILY AND FRIENDS CEMETERY
College Park, Fulton County, Georgia

Lat: 33° 36' 13"N, Lon: 84° 28' 17"W

Total records = 110.

This cemetery is one mile south of I-285 at 3000 Old
National Hwy in College Park GA

This cemetery was established in 1857 from lands owned by
Albert Godbee. The cemetery is deeded to The Family and
Friends of Albert and Elizabeth Godbee. 

The First 3 burials were the wife of Albert Godbee (
Elizabeth Griffin-Godbee) and two of his married daughters
(Lucretia Godbee-Duke)(Sarah Godbee- Fowler) who came to be
with their mother during her sickness. They died within days
of each other from an outbreak of measles.

The cemetery is open to all Family members and descendants.
All of the family contribute to the upkeep of the cemetery,
which is handled by a first cousin. 

This transcription contains all burials in this cemetery up
to Jan 01, 2006.
