Roger was killed, in Europe, in the Battle of the Bulge in 1944.  He was not 
scheduled for duty on the day of his death, however, a man was ill and Roger 
volunteered to go.  The whole unit was lost due to an explosion. His mother 
brought his body home 1947 and buried him at West View Cemetery, West View Dr., 
Atlanta, Fulton County, GA with his father and two brothers.  He is buried plot 
404 Section 11.
