Atlanta Evening News January 8, 1907
Alderman John McEachern, of Atlanta, is the donator of the 240 acres of land 
given to the Seventh congressional district agricultural school, which will be 
located near Powder Springs, Cobb county.

Chairman W. M. Jones, of the board of trustees of the school, has called a 
meeting at the site of the institution for Saturday next for the purpose of 
laying plans and directing the same for buildings.
