E. McKelvey is the guest of relatives at Social Circle. Mr. W. E. Fife, who is located at Savannah, is here for a visit with homefolks. You will do well to read the advertisement of Smith & Higgins in this issue. Mr. N. H. Benefield and Dr. W. L. Allen, of Riverdale, were in Jonesboro Tuesday. Mrs. N. W. Williamson and Master Lovick Williamson are guests of relatives at Inman. Mr. Burge Harper, one of Jonesboro's popular young farmers sent in a cotton bloom on July 4th. Messrs. C. R. Camp and R. G. Carico, of Atlanta, were the guests of Mr. A. A. Camp and family for several days of last week. Sheriff C. D. Dickson left for Milledgeville Thursday afternoon having in charge two negro men who had been adjudged insane. Miss Langford, the popular and attractive "shopper" at J. M. High Co's in Atlanta, is not only a great convenience for the "mere man" shopper, but is a great help to the ladies and especially so to those wh order by mail.
