Atlanta Evening News January 8, 1907
Andrew Flemister, a negro who was serving a term of six years on a forgery 
charge at the brick yards of the Palmer Brick Company, on Marietta street, 
slipped past the guards yesterday and made good his escape.  The negro was 
sentenced on November 27, 1906, and remained in service but four months.

The negro's escape was not known for some time after he disappeared and then no 
trace of him could be found.
