Evans and little son, Irwin, are in Clayton until some time in June. Mrs G. H. Brandon entertained her sewing club at its last meeting at a spend-the-day party. Miss Annie Lou Pepper, of Clearwater, Fla., is visiting Mrs Charles R. Hardy. Mrs. Robert Bennett and Miss Hattie May Bennett, of Jesup, will arrive this week to visit Mrs Hardy. Mrs. Whit Collier has returned to Birmingham after spending several days in the city. Miss Ollie May Osborn was guest of honor at a matinee party given yesterday by Miss Laura Jones. Mrs. Ulric Atkinson is spending the week with Mrs. Samuel Porter. Mr. and Mrs. John W. Rice have leased their home on Spring street and taken an apartment on East Twelfth, near Juniper. Mr. and Mrs. Carey Baker, of Birmingham, are at the Georgian Terrace. After the first of June they will make their home in Atlanta. Messrs E. E. Fulton, Jack O'Donnell, Jess Dobbs, Frank Patterson, E. H. James and William Percy are spending a week at Fredericka on a fishing trip. Mr. J.W. Conway and Mr. John D.
