Miss Ida Camp and Miss Kate McCauley have returned from Social Circle. Miss Era Sewell returned yesterday to her home at Gainesville. Miss Eunice Campbell, who has been spending the holidays with Miss Ida Sewell, has returned to Riverside, Ga. Mr. Hugh Barton and Mr. John Roberts have returned from a visit to Social Circle. Miss Beatrice Foster and Miss Vickie Lock, who have been visiting Misses Ida and Eva Sewell, have returned to their home in Fairburn, Ga. Mrs. J. F. Gamewell, of Spartanburg, S.C., is the guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. M. Turner. Mrs. A. M. DuPre, of Gainesville, and Miss Marion Chambers, of Gainesville, have returned home, after a visit to Mrs. William Gregory. Miss Mamie Campbell leaves Thursday for Chicago, where she will study to become a missionary. Mrs. T. D. Sloane has gone to Florida to be with her husband, who was injured in a fire at the hotel in which he was stopping. Miss Alma Henderson has returned from a visit to Hampton, Ga., where she was the guest of relatives. Dr. Robert M. Harbin, of Rome, spent today in the city. Miss Inez White and Miss Mildred Cabaniss left today for Augusta, where they will be the guests of Mrs. Harry Cabaniss. Miss Rosa Kingsbery leaves this evening for Rome, where she will visit her sister, Mrs. Robert M. Harbin. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Stevens will take possession of their beautiful new home on Peachtree Thursday. Little Emory Flinn, the six-year old son of Rev. and Mrs. R. O. Flinn, fell Saturday and broke his arm. Though suffering very much, he is doing as well as could be expected. Mr. Robert DuPre, who is a student at the medical college here, will return the 10th from his home in Owings, S. C., where he spent the holidays. Miss Minnie Morgan left last week for Jackson, Miss., where she will visit relatives. Mrs. W. E. Willmerding and little daughter are visiting in Texas. At Mrs. Van Landingham's bridge for Mrs. Arthur Middleton Gibbes, yesterday, Mrs. Gibbes and Mrs. Barbour Thompson tied top score and Mrs. Gibbes received the prize, a jewel case. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Jordan today took possession of their home on Juniper Street. Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Winter, of Selma, announce the birth of a son. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Weaver left today for New York. Mrs. Edward Inman has returned from New York. Miss Amanda Greer returned yesterday to her home in New Jersey, after a delightful visit to Miss Antoinette Blount. Mrs. Fred Lewis continues quite ill at her home on Baker Street. The Tuesday Afternoon Euchre Club met this afternoon with Mrs. Edgar Hunnicutt. Mr. Frank Freeman has returned to the Tech, after spending the hoidays at his home in Greenville. Mr. James Conway Hunter left yesterday for a two weeks' trip to Florida. Mrs. S. L. Whitaker and Miss Clara Lamar are the guests of Mrs. Irving Proctor in Covington. Mr. Albert Simpson has returned to his home in Waverly Hall, after spending several days in Atlanta. Mr. Joe Jones has returned from Toccoa. Professor Andrew Bramlett, of the Tech, spent the holidays in Pickens, S. C. Mrs. R. A. Wallace has been the recent guest of her sister, Mrs. Nesbit Wingfield, in Augusta. Miss Dora Cheves has returned from Villa Ricca, where she visited Miss Anne Hixon. Miss Mary Tigner, of Greenville, is the guest of her aunt, Mrs. Neal Johnson.
