The Atlanta Constitution Tues Jan 4, 1910 January 4, 1910

Judge W. D. Ellis yesterday appointed a temporary receiver to take
charge of the property of Charles G. Shearer, whose wifle, Mrs. M.
V. Shearer, is suing him for divorce on the grounds of infidelity. 
Shearer left Atlanta recently, it is alleged, with another woman after
becoming a studen of a psychological society. He was formery a
travelling salesman, with Atlanta as his headquarters. Shearer owned
considerable real estate.
