The vacant lot at the corner of South Pryor and Bass streets will be the place of entertainment, and a large company from the entire south side is expected to participate in this rather old-fashioned form of pleasure. War songs, love lyrics and familiar church hymns, led by Mr. O. A. Spruill, will brighten the occasion, with perhaps one or two three-minute speakers. Frozen cream and home-baked cake will be served, all proceeds going to the benefit of the church debt.
