Atlanta Evening News January 8, 1907
A delightful event of last evening was the up-jenks party Miss Anita Maier and 
Miss Marie Maier gave in compliment to their guests, Miss Julia Schilling and 
Miss Edna Schilling, of Marietta.  
The first prize, a Japanese picture, was won by Miss May La Fontaine.  The 
second, a burnt leather calendar, by Mr. Alfred Harbour, and the consolation, a 
game of authors, by Miss Bessie Abbey.  After the game delicious refreshments 
was served.
Their guests were:  Miss Julia Schilling, Miss Edna Schilling, Miss Bessie 
Abbey, Miss Irene Hartzog, Miss Leila House, Miss May La Fontaine, Miss Jennie 
Hutchings, Miss Ida Everette, Miss Mamie Heinz, Miss May Griffith, Mr. Alfred 
Hogan, Mr. Arthur House, Mr. Ralph Parks, Mr. Hob Hull, Mr. Ed Martin, Mr. 
Paris, Mr. Frank Gabble, Mr. Charles La Fontaine, Mr. John Schilling, Mr. Roy 
Mell, Mr. Brittain, Mr. Harry Thomas, Mr. John Hudson, Mr. and Mrs. Lincoln 
Morrison, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Arnold, and Mr. Berdard.
