There is perhaps no other man better or more generally known in Atlanta than this same "Bill". In the past he has been associated with many theatrical enterprises in and around Atlanta. In the days of the old Lyceum theater on Edgewood avenue he was the successful manager who first brought vaudeville to Atlanta; also one of its first stock companies. We all remember the time when Ponce de Leon park was opened as an amusement resort. Bill Sharpe made it a success. In the mangement of the Savoy we can look for him to repeat his successes of the past, and friends and acquaintances without number are offering congratulations.
