Young Atlantan Claimed By Death

Funeral services for George Edward Akridge, 21, who died Friday at his home, 
376 Simpson Street, after an illness of one week, will be held this afternoon 
at 3 o’clock from the chapel of Harry G. Poole, funeral director.  Rev. Luke 
Rader will officiate.  Interment will be in West View cemetery.

The young man was a member of the Central Baptist church and an active member 
of the Agoga Sunday school class at the Baptist Tabernacle.  He is survived by 
his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.M. Akridge; two brothers, Julian and J.M. Akridge, 
Jr. and his grandfather, G.W. Akridge.
