BURKE – Died at a private sanitarium Sunday, November 16, 1924, in his thirty-
third year, Major James J. Burke.  He is survived by his father, Mr. James J. 
Burke, of Richmond, Va.; sisters, Miss A.M. Burke, of New York; Mrs. Edward T. 
Robertson, of Richmond, Va., Mrs. Charles Kessnich and brother, Joseph E. 
Burke, of Richmond, Va.  

Remains were taken to Richmond, Va., Monday evening, November 17, 1924, at 8 
o’clock via S.A.L. railway, for funeral services and interment by H.M. 
Patterson
