Clower, Atlanta Pioneer Citizen, Is Dead John Edmond Clower, age 66, a resident of Atlanta for 57 years, died at his home at East Lake Saturday night. He was one of the few surviving members of the Tallulah volunteer fire company, and was a charter member of the Atlanta Pioneer School Boys' club. As a young man he was employed by the Constitution. He is survived by his widow, one brother, T G Clower, and one sister, Mrs. H O Reese, of Atlanta; five nephews, Clarence Reese, of Winnsboro, SC; Clifford, Will, Finn and Henry Clower of Atlanta; three nieces Miss Minnie Clower and Mrs. Marion Summergild, of Atlanta, and Mrs. T R Finley, of Montgomery, Ala. Funeral will be held at St. Luke's Episcopal church Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Revs. Russell K. Smith and C B Wilmer will officiate. Members of the Pioneer School Boys' club and the Tallulah volunteer fire deparment will act as honorary escort. H M Patterson & Son in charge.
