Thomas Harrison Clower, one of the pioneer citizens of Opelika, Ala. an insurance local agent for the past half century, died at his home on December 18, after being in failing health for several years. Captain Clower served in the confederate armies in practically all engagements as captain, and was held in Libby prison. He was prominent in civic affairs. Captain Clower is survived by his wife, and four sons, Robert P. Clower, Albert B. Clower, and Thomas H. Clower, Jr., all of Atlanta, and George E. Clower, of Opelika.
