The body was carried to the state capitol where it will lie in state until tomorrow morning, when it will be carried to LaGrange for interment. Captain Crenshaw returned to Atlanta several days ago and submitted to an operation for the bullet wound in his head. The physicians had little hope of his recovery, but he remained cheerful to the last, believing that he would get well. He had lain for weeks in the hospital in Manila before being sent on the homeward voyage. He was Captain of Company A., Twenty-Eighth United States volunteer infantry. Captain Crenshaw was a gallant soldier and brought home with him a superb sword, which he personally captured from a colonel of the insurgents.
